In this convergence era, people are highly exposed to many kinds of media. Using transmedia storytelling, these elements are systematically integrated to achieve a unified and coordinated entertainment experience. Through this course, you will understand how the transmedia storytelling approach is utilized in various creative industry products, including writing, films, television advertisements, and so on. You will also learn how transmedia storytelling can play a role in non-creative industry areas, such as social enterprises for promotional purposes and social movements to raise more audience engagement. And by the end of this lesson, you will be expected to produce a new narrative idea by applying the transmedia storytelling concept and strategies to creative or non-creative industry product. We can’t wait!
