This course offers an in-depth exploration of Islamic Entrepreneurship, providing learners with both conceptual foundations and practical applications of entrepreneurship within the framework of Shariah principles. It emphasizes that entrepreneurship in Islam is not solely about maximizing profit, but also about fulfilling one’s purpose, embodying ethical values, and generating positive impact for society. By integrating classical Islamic teachings with modern business practices, the course helps learners develop an entrepreneurial mindset that balances material success with spiritual fulfillment and social responsibility.
Learning experiences throughout the course will be highly interactive, featuring a combination of video lectures, mind maps, presentations, curated readings of successful Islamic enterprises. Each session concludes with summaries, short quizzes, and opportunities for peer discussion to reinforce learning. The flexible, self-paced model allows learners to manage their time effectively while engaging in structured, meaningful learning activities.

Requirements
This course does not require prior entrepreneurial experience, but learners are expected to have a basic understanding of business concepts such as value creation, markets, and management. Familiarity with Islamic principles and teachings will be beneficial, though essential concepts will be introduced during the course. Strong motivation to learn, critical thinking, and openness to collaborative discussion are highly recommended to maximize the learning experience.
Course Instructors
Ronald Rulindo, Ph.D is a scholar and practitioner in the field of Islamic business and entrepreneurship, with extensive academic and professional experience. He earned his degree in Finance and has dedicated his career to integrating Islamic principles into the study and practice of entrepreneurship, finance, and business ethics. Currently serving as a faculty member at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia, Mr.Rulindo has been actively involved in teaching, research, and community engagement.
