About this course

Green Finance introduces how capital markets and financial institutions drive environmental sustainability and climate resilience. Through concise videos, case studies, quizzes, and discussions, you’ll connect core finance concepts to global frameworks (SDGs, Paris Agreement), evaluate key instruments (e.g., green bonds, ESG-linked loans), and analyze climate-risk disclosure (TCFD/ISSB) and corporate ESG practices—while watching for greenwashing. The course is self-paced and fully online for flexible study.

Designed for students and professionals worldwide, the course blends academic rigor with real-world application and regional case studies, including from emerging markets. By the end, you’ll be able to assess green financial instruments, analyze sustainability-related risks and opportunities, and apply green finance principles in academic, policy, or business settings.
