This course equips students with essential financial literacy skills including budgeting, saving, spending wisely, planning for the future, and exploring the world of investing and entrepreneurship — all within a relatable and teen-friendly learning environment.

Whether you're receiving allowance money, planning your first big purchase, or dreaming of launching a small business, this course gives you the tools and mindset to take control of your financial life from a young age.

 Course Structure:

This MOOC includes 6 Sections, each divided into 3 Subsections. Total course length is estimated at 30–36 hours, with each section taking about 5–6 hours to complete.

Each subsection includes:

  • A short quiz to reinforce learning
  • Assignments or projects to apply knowledge
  • Discussions for collaborative reflection

At the end, you’ll complete a Final Project: Your Own Personal Financial Plan!

Meet Your Instructor

Karina Wulandari brings a unique blend of academic expertise, teaching experience, and youth mentoring to her role as an instructor of personal finance for high school students. She holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management from the University of Melbourne and has taught for nearly two decades at Universitas Indonesia, where her courses have included Introductory Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Business Ethics, and Portfolio Management, all of which provide foundational principles of personal finance.
