This course begins with an Overview of Planetary Health, providing a general introduction to the background, educational framework, and the relationship between Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and planetary health. It identifies knowledge gaps and outlines the functions and interconnections between SDGs and planetary health, focusing on concrete actions such as ensuring clean water and sanitation (SDG 6), promoting health and well-being (SDG 3), and advancing sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11).

Requirements

A MOOC on planetary health would attract individuals motivated by the opportunity to learn about how the health of our planet and the health of its inhabitants are deeply interconnected.
