Instructors

Ayunda Aulia Valencia, Ph.D. is a lecturer in the Geophysics Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Geology from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London, and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Geophysics from Institut Teknologi Bandung. His research focuses on delta morphodynamics, sediment compaction, sustainable geoscience, environmental risk assessment, and computational geoscience modelling. He has published in international journals and Scopus-indexed proceedings, and has experience as a researcher, lecturer, and geophysicist in Indonesia and abroad.

Anne Meylani Magdalena Sirait, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Geophysics Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia. She earned her Ph.D. in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA. Her research focuses on seismotectonics in Indonesia and globally, as well as disaster education. She has published several scientific papers and articles in the fields of seismology and disaster education.
