To develop a robust financial reporting application using PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap, several requirements must be considered. These include the ability to manage financial transactions, generate various financial reports, and provide multi-user access with appropriate permissions. Additionally, the application should prioritize security, performance, and user experience. Technical requirements include proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap, along with a solid understanding of web development principles. Other essential considerations are compatibility with different operating systems, scalability to accommodate growing data volumes, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements
To enroll in this course, students should have a foundational understanding of programming, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Throughout the course, active participation in class discussions, timely completion of programming assignments, and the development of a comprehensive financial reporting application are required. This project will involve database design, backend development using PHP and MySQL, and frontend design with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. Additionally, students will learn about data security, user authentication, and generating comprehensive financial reports. The course will conclude with a presentation showcasing the developed application. Prior experience with Git and PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter is beneficial but not mandatory. Ultimately, this course is designed to provide practical experience in building real-world financial applications, equipping students with the skills necessary for a successful career in software development or financial technology.

Our course is led by Dr. Yulius Eka Agung Seputra, S.T., S.Ak., M.Si., a highly qualified instructor with a strong background in both engineering and accounting. Dr. Yulius has extensive academic and professional experience, particularly in the fields of financial data analysis, information systems, and the integration of technology in accounting. His expertise in teaching, research, and authorship of numerous books on computer-based accounting and information systems ensures that learners receive comprehensive and practical knowledge throughout the course.
Supporting the course is our teaching assistant, Aries Tianto Fadly, S.Hum., who brings a background in academic development and course facilitation. Aries is passionate about supporting learners in navigating the course materials and ensuring a smooth learning experience. He will be available to provide guidance, answer questions, and assist with course-related activities.

Biography of Instructor
Dr. Yulius Eka Agung Seputra, S.T., S.Ak., M.Si.
Dr. Yulius Eka Agung Seputra has a strong academic background in both engineering and accounting. He began his academic career as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, from 1997 to 2000. He then pursued his Master’s degree in Materials Science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia, before advancing his studies in the Doctoral Program in Economics and the Doctoral Program in Material Science. In addition, Dr. Yulius has also contributed as a part-time lecturer in the Diploma Program in Accounting at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Indonesia.
In his current role, Dr. Yulius serves as the Coordinator for Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and the Credit Earning Program at the Vocational Education Program, Universitas Indonesia. Beyond teaching, he is actively involved in research and has published several scholarly works, particularly in the application of adaptive fuzzy inference systems for data and material analysis.
Dr. Yulius is also the author of numerous academic books in the fields of computer applications, accounting, and management. His publications include Belajar Tuntas Statistik Berbantuan Komputer, Komputer Akuntansi dengan Accurate, Belajar Akuntansi Berbantuan Komputer, Belajar Tuntas Audit Berbantuan Komputer, Merancang Sistem Informasi menggunakan VB.Net, Buku Pintar C#, Akuntansi Biaya Berbantuan Komputer, Penganggaran Berbantuan Komputer, and Manajemen dan Perilaku Organisasi. These works reflect his expertise in integrating technology with accounting and management practices, providing valuable resources for both students and professionals.
